Description
MDF – Medium Density Fiberboard.
MDF is made from thin wood fibers that are pressed under high pressure at high temperatures. An organic binder and hardening agent is added. The resulting material has a uniform density and homogeneous structure.
The MDF is sanded to a very smooth surface.
Characteristics
MDF is easy to process and is the main material in furniture production. MDF is suitable for different coatings:
